Flying field is for DAC members and sponsered guests ONLY.

General public are welcome to spectate and ask questions.

Safe Flying

A critical issue for all involved in model planes -- covering everything from model preparation to ground and radio procedures, in addition to flying skills.  This is a core theme for the club.

Model Aircraft Airworthiness Check List

A checklist should help to ensure that your model is airworthy, click here to download.  However neither the checker nor DAC can be held responsible for undetected structural faults, design faults, radio faults, or interference or pilot error that may cause damage to the model or persons or property.

 

Flight Proficiency Rating

MAAA Bronze Wings and Gold Wings are awarded for demonstrated proficiency to specified levels in flying radio controlled model aircraft.  The guidelines for awarding of MAAA Flight Proficiency Scheme 'Wings' can be found here MOP027
