Modelling Links

This web site is meant to be About Doncaster Aeromodellers and, as such, we have no great motivation to maintain a set of links to other sites (and check they don't get broken etc.).

We are impressed with the work of Alan Tong over in New Zealand. Alan maintains a stunning set of modelling references with the simple intent of giving others some of the benefits that the hobby has given to him. There is no advertising and he is not paid by anyone -- but he still manages to update up to 4 times a day as he finds new information.

Alan is truly bitten by the modelling bug. Having retired from a professional role some 7 years back he seems to have a habit of getting bored, working part time in hobby shops, and then being asked to manage and/or develop them (he seems to have repeated this pattern twice).

As you will see, his links cover most things you have ever thought of, and a few hundred you haven't -- from specific genres of modelling through to techniques of all sorts.
