Swinburne University Mechatronics Engineering final year Project

March - September  2010

Students from Swinburne University visited DAC field on a regular basis over the 6 month period. Their final year project was to design and implement a UAV (Unmanned Airborne Vehicles). Assistance was required in setting up and flying their model aircraft. Once the aircraft had been test flown, further tests where then carried out on size of payload. Sensor measurements were also taken in order to implement their inertial navigation system. Many members of DAC provided technical assistance over this period and special thanks goes to Colin K for being at call to be the test pilot.
