Joining the Club

NEW & PROSPECTIVE MEMBERS

* Don't buy anything until you come to the club and get advise from senior club members.

* Also check out this YouTube clip on RC Flying for Newbie's here

######     No MAAA Insurance == No Flying     ######

If you would like to join the Club, then the first thing you should do is 'come on down' one Saturday afternoon (Electric powered) or Sunday afternoon (IC powered) and have a look at what we do.  There you can ask questions before you purchase your first trainer model, and what radio gear best suits your needs.  If it is a nice day, just ask a club member to see if it is possible to try flying a trainer model using a "buddy system" (try before you buy).

Once you have joined the club your DAC Approved Trainer (instructor) will assist you in your training program to learning to fly.
